My name is Kenna Morris Garcia, and I have been an arts educator for over 20 years. I believe the arts are innate in every child, and it is my goal as an arts educator to help students find their expressive and creative outlet. This is best achieved by fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages authentic sharing of information and ideas. Every student is unique, and should have their own goals and path to achieve those goals. It is my job to create a curriculum that is relevant and appropriate for each individual child. Through open-ended discussions, class rituals, and imaginative activities, I hope to engage, interest, and inspire students to become SMART (Strong. Mindful. Artistic. Resilient. Truthful) life-long learners.
